Marika graduated from McGill University (B.C.L./LL.B.) and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2016. Before joining the firm in 2018, Marika was a research-lawyer at the Quebec Court of Appeal.
During her studies, Marika also completed an internship with Human Rights Watch in New York City and was involved in the Legal Information Clinic at McGill.
Marika also has a Master’s degree in Political Theory from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Before studying law, she was a political officer with Oxfam. She also worked for a number of years with a variety of media and community organizations in Québec and overseas. Through this work, Marika has been the recipient of a number of awards.
Marika is particularly interested in collective labour relations, workplace injuries and human rights.
